Snippetvault is a site where you can post code/shell scripts that you routinely forget. You can tag entries so you or other people can look them up later, and the catch is there ain't no registration.

Nisect is a tool that I conceived because I wanted an easy way to label anomalies and get only the information I need out of binary packets in protocols that ethereal didn't support and dissectors were too big of a pain to write. So I came up with a minimal language, a few simple identification parameters, and a way to dump the packet logs to a couple useful formats.

Brennan Underwood has a similiar program (Visual Debris) that generates some really nice pictures and you can use it as a screensaver.
